In 1986 a hurricane swept across Texas, resulting in much flooding and fatalities. Here the storm approaches Enchanted Rock in the Hill Country. The artist spent a scary night camped out in a flimsy tent, by morning it had rained 11 inches and one person in the park had drowned.
